- License conditions for KeyChange
- ================================
-
- This program can be distributed freely, but I retain copyright. You can copy
- and circulate it as you wish, as long as you don't sell it for profit, and
- as long as all supplied files go with it. I make no warranty for the
- performance of the program, fitness for any purpose, or absence of bugs, and
- I take no responsibility for files erased, computers blown up, nuclear wars
- started, or any other consequence of the use of the program. Basically, I've
- done the best I can to make it bug free, but beyond that (as with all PD
- programs) you should use it with care.
-
- Permission is NOT given:
-
- 1) To modify the source or object code (except to fix bugs).
- 2) To alter the way the keys are mapped (this could cause confusion).
- 3) To incorporate the module code into another module.
-
- In other words, the functionality of the module must not be changed. These
- conditions apply to distribution, not to end-users (but if you modify
- something as a user, remember not to pass it on!).
-
- Permission is, however, given to use parts of the source code in other
- applications provided that credit is given, and provided that similar
- distribution conditions to those above are imposed.
-
- Authors of public-domain hot-key utilities are encouraged to make use of
- this module, and to distribute it with their software, provided that such
- distribution obeys the conditions above. I would strongly urge, however,
- that the extra codes provided are NOT intercepted by any foreground
- application (i.e. through a window with the input focus). I would also
- recommend that any hot-key utility should provide the option to change
- the key press(es) used, preferably by allowing the user to type the keypress
- (using a dialogue box with input focus).
-
- If you find the program useful you might like to make a donation to Oxfam
- - say £5.
